Synthesis & Learnings
Assumptions
01
All personas know what kind of pet they want
02
All personas have done some kind of research
03
All personas have experience with pets
Learnings
01
Most users didn't know what kind of pet they wanted. A majority of users interviewed stated that one of the harder or more challenging parts of adopting a new pet was finding the one that met their lifestyle.
02
This assumption was confirmed. A lot of users interviewed did a lot of research online. Only one user out of everyone interviewed did no research prior to going to an animal shelter and/or rescue group.
03
Most users grew up with a variety of pets which is part of the reason as to why they wanted to bring in another pet.
Solution Statement
An app that connects users with with animal adoption agencies near them. It allows the users to be matched with what pet would best suit their lifestyle. It also gives animals the highest chance of being adopted to their forever home.
